About your instructor Alexander Major is a Washington D.C. area attorney focusing on federal procurement and cybersecurity counseling where he assists clients with government contract claims disputes, multiple award schedules, subcontract disputes, internal investigations, false claims act litigation, compliance with other government regulations (TAA, BAA, etc.) and the cost accounting standards. Alex is a former federal judicial law clerk with significant litigation experience overseeing complex electronic discovery and other pre-trial discovery matters. Throughout his legal career, Alex has assisted in the representation and counseling of multiple Fortune 500 companies and individuals in diverse state and federal civil and criminal proceedings. Alex is also a retired US Air Force intelligence officer with global expertise in intelligence collection. He is the only practicing attorney who is a graduate of the National Security Agency’s Junior Officer Career Cryptologic Program (JOCCP) and, with having served in multiple tactical and strategic-level assignments throughout the intelligence and law enforcement community, ha has gained in-depth understanding of the application and use of IMINT, SIGINT and MASINT systems and HUMINT sources.
